There Has Never Been A More Exciting Time
To Join The InterAct Family!
Last season was our most successful ever. Our dynamic
production of Kristoffer Diaz’ THE ELABORATE ENTRANCE
OF CHAD DEITY garnered critical acclaim before the play
was named a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize; our home-grown
production of CITY OF NUMBERS by Sean Christopher Lewis
went on to be performed around the country and win the
National New Play Network’s Smith Prize; our world premiere production of WHEN WE GO UPON THE SEA by Lee Blessing
transferred to New York for an Off-Broadway run; and our
production of BLACK PEARL SINGS! by Frank Higgins
inspired standing ovations.
Our home at The Adrienne in Center City, Philadelphia has
undergone extraordinary renovations. We are now fullyhandicapped-
accessible with a re-designed and expanded
lobby and public restroom. Every seat in our 106-seat house
makes you feel intimately connected to the drama onstage.
And our 2010-11 season promises to be more inspiring, more
entertaining and more surprising than ever before. We’ll take
you back in time to a utopian community in upstate New York.
We’ll take you into the future where buried secrets come back
to haunt a family in Minnesota. We’ll take you to Afghanistan
where two men embrace faith to defy the odds. We’ll take you
to Iceland where an African-American woman re-imagines
herself and her place in the world.
The InterAct experience just keeps getting better. And we invite you, now, to be part of the excitement.
